Chilean students conflict

Background:

At present in Chile only some persons study free in the university. This situation is only possible because in 2011 thousands of students leave a street with protest very large. But this conflict is not new, its real origin is in the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, this lasts seventeen years approx. but it consequences be in the society still today. In the case of education, under command of this dictatorship and with the introduction of system neoliberal dominate every planes of Chilean society like economic plane, cultural plane, etc. Many of institutions it was be of state was pass a private institutions where for example in the case of university, this proceed of be free a paid for ours students and with price very upper.

Problem:

In the 2011 the students of Chile leave a street with a slogan very clear: “Education free and of quality”. This slogan not was being only of students of university; also convene students of school in different situation. This “student movement” be capable of arrive every country. In one moment don´t exist any place where the people don’t talk about this topic. In this year, 2011, we watch much protest with big number assistants, but with the pass of time, manifestation like indefinite strike, hunger strike, general strike, etc.  every week were have less persons share of this. In 2016, after of five years the president Michelle Bachelet published law of education free and of quality. But this solution don´t resolve the real conflict for three principal reasons: first, some people study free but the others persons continue pay much money for go to university; second, this topic is associated with a benefit more of a law, and this is a big error; and third, the topic about quality don´t have a big indication about:  What is education of quality?, What’s elements make up a good education?, etc. And in the last reason, is evident this problem be in the every education and not only in university, in the school also is necessary indicate what is education of quality and why our students in Chile don’t have this education.

Proposed Solution:

Although the free education is a reality today, we don´t forget what even be students with big debt for go to university. And I think this is a big problem because we lost it interest for this topic only we don´t buy for study but don´t look at the others persons surrounding and they dependent of a big movement with a capacity of fight for the education free be universal and the economic system don´t make of us, egotistical persons, because in the case only we are capable of return a free education like be before of military dictatorship. Also I think is important the people work in institution of education, the state, etc. don´t considered the free education as a benefit if not a universal law important for every person. And also be capable of establish a good education with quality equal for every Chilean persons.
